So the rain Gods didn't forget Delhi after all! After flooding Rajasthan on the west and Orissa in the east, it was finally Delhi's turn. It has been strange that a place like Rajasthan, which is known for its problems with scarce rainfall, got so much rains this time that it flooded out there. Its hard to believe that Rajasthan, known for its deserts if facing floods. And look at Delhi. It just rained a countable number of days this season, and the weather was still hot; until yesterday . .
It has been raining heavily since yesterday and it seems that we can hope say goodbye to the summer heat for this year. No, we're not having floods like Rajasthan, but the torrents still continue as I write. It has effected the weather out here and I can feel that this is the beginning of the end of this summer. It was a bit elongated summer this time, extending to the end of the regular rainy season. Hope the winters are good . .
One more thing . . I'm going home this Dusshera. I booked my tickets yesterday. It'll be about six months since mine last visit home. The longest interval till date. Will be going for a long time too. :-) Would probably be a bit hectic before and after that, but who cares. I'm going home and that it, period.
